The Garden Appreciation Society Week 2
So tell the truth, especially if you're reluctant to actually cut any blooms in your garden to enjoy inside: Did you love seeing your beautiful bouquet last week? Did it bring at least one smile to your face?
How are you appreciating your garden in new ways this week?
New to The Garden Appreciation Society? You can read more about it here, but the general idea is that gardeners need to break the habit of only appreciating their hard work and their gardens in their "natural habitats" and bring a small part of their garden inside to appreciate in a new way. It doesn't have to be a huge bouquet. It's not about flower arranging and it's not about photography.
So make a bouquet from your garden, bring it inside and appreciate it! And if you feel like it, link it up below. You can link to it on your blog, a photo site (like Flickr) or even Facebook (just check your settings for that photo so you make sure we can all see it).
Here's a link to Week 1. If you haven't already, check out the great links there.

Oops, I took some photos of flowers this morning OUTSIDE. Now I'll have to go out and pick some for the table, then link up.
As Arnold would say "I'll be back".
I'm behind in my reading so I missed this! I never hesitate to cut my flowers and bring them inside. Usually always have some kind of display in both bathrooms, on the windowsill over the kitchen sink and usually one in the living room and sometimes the dining room table. Not always colorful. The one over the sink is just different kinds of leaves. Can't get over how that yellow daff makes that blue absolutely electric in your vase!
Hi Erin,
I'm trying to add a link, but I think something's wrong. It's taking forever to load a picture, and it won't let me post without one. In any case, I did cut some irises and tulips this week to bring in. It was fun! I'm finding myself looking at plants in a new way... (tulip stems with seed pods? That could add some depth to a bouquet!)

Thanks for hosting! I'll try again to link up using the tool next week.
Take care,
Linnae
Ack! I'm too late...but I did it anyway. LOL.
